Head Of Program and Evaluation
With 14 years’ experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods, Obed has led high level projects funded by organizations such as NORC at the University of Chicago, the African Development Bank, Mondelēz International, ICLEI-Africa, Mathematica, Mastercard Foundation, George Washington University, and ELRHA-Humanitarian Innovation Fund (UK). He has extensive experience in action research, development advocacy, organizational change and development, project management, and stakeholder mapping. A Certified Expert in Climate Change Financing and have been a focal person with the Green Climate Fund in South Korea, working towards the development and uptake of climate change research. A Fellow of the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany (NDC-FFP) and the Africa Research and Impact Network. Obed currently leads the Ghana office of the Ipsos African Centre of Development Research and Evaluation. Obed holds a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Science, Policy and Management.
Abigail Mortey is a public health researcher with special interests in Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Health Systems, Sustainable Rural Livelihoods Development, and Program Evaluation Methodologies. Prior to joining CMSI, Abigail spent over three (3) years providing technical, monitoring and evaluation support to numerous social development programs funded by international organisations including USAID, Mondelez International, Rainforest Alliance, and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). At CMSI, she provides her expertise to a portfolio of projects including impact and performance evaluations, surveys, training workshops as well as to systems development, staff and resource management. Abigail holds a Master's degree in Public Health Monitoring and Evaluation degree from the University of Ghana.
Joseph Asare has 15 years experience in the research industry. He has worked with various high profile clients and top companies across subsaharan Africa to operationalise solutions for market and social research. His speciality is in Quality assurance, Quality control and training with extensive knowledge in the ISO Market Research standard (ISO 20252:2019). Joseph worked with Ipsos Limited Ghana in several capacities the most recent being their Country Compliance Officer and Quality Control Manager. He holds a BBA in Administration from Valley View University, Ghana and has participated in numerous industry training programs.
Dr. Frederick Dapilah is a Senior Lecturer in the Department o at the SD Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies, Ghana. Frederick has over seven (7) years teaching and research experience in urban studies and human-environment relations, in particular dimensions of vulnerability, adaptation, resilience and finance in the context of climate change. He has consulted for a number of International Organizations and worked with rural communities in Northern Ghana on climate change adaptation and resilience planning and implementation at the local and national scales. His current research work focuses on the financing of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the 2015 Paris Agreement in Africa and the nexus between climate risk, mobilities and transnational adaptation governance in West Africa.
